Virtual Family Conferences are scheduled for Wednesday, October 13th from 12:30 until 6:30 p.m. Due to time restrictions, please sign-up to talk with teachers, especially in classes where your student might be struggling or you have specific questions for the teacher. Please access the Parent Portal to review your student’s schedule.

Virtual conferences will be held on Google Meet this year. All outside emails work with Google Meet now. Sign up for a time slot here. If you are unable to schedule a conference with a teacher, please email them to schedule another time.

Staff Lunch on Wednesday, Oct. 13th
The PTSA will be providing lunch for Conifer staff on Wednesday, October 13th, for
Teacher-Parent Conferences. The theme is Mexican food! They would appreciate
your support in providing dishes, sides, drinks, desserts and paper

9th, 10th, and 11th Grade PSAT Testing – Wednesday, October 13th

On Wednesday, October 13th, Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors will take their PSAT test. Students should plan to arrive at school by 7:30 a.m. with the following testing items:

  • 2 - #2 pencils (mechanical pencils are not allowed)
  • Calculator
  • Student ID

Room assignments for testing will be posted outside of the counseling office on Monday afternoon. It’s important for students to get plenty of rest the night before and to eat a healthy breakfast prior to the test.
Any Juniors that have not pre-bubbled for the PSAT, should visit the Counseling
Office ASAP.

Students may leave school after they are done testing, but busses will not arrive until 2:40 p.m. After the PSAT testing, virtual Parent Teacher Conferences will run from 12:30 –6:30 p.m. and information will be sent out next week on how to schedule a conference.
Seniors should work on college applications and/or plan to visit a college campus
on Wednesday, October 13th


Seniors-Colorado Colleges Free Application Day

Attention Seniors, this year’s Colorado's Application Day has expanded to
become "Free Application Day"! The fourth-annual state-wide initiative has grown
from one day to three days:

Tuesday, October 19 - Thursday, October 21, 2021
Applicants who submit their admission application to Colorado's colleges and
universities during this three-day period can do so for free. Just follow the
application instructions listed below.

And remember, while the application must be submitted during this three-day
period to be eligible for the fee waiver, applicants can begin working on their
admission applications now! Just save your on-line work and submit the
admission application October 19th through 21st.
