English Language Arts
The English language arts program at Conifer High School is designed to cultivate students' critical thinking, communication and literacy skills. The program focuses on developing students' ability to analyze texts, express their ideas clearly and effectively and engage in meaningful dialogue with a variety of audiences through various modalities.
Students are encouraged to think empathetically and use reason as they navigate through the curriculum. Ultimately, we aim for students to graduate from Conifer as more adept readers and writers than when they started, while always striving to become their best selves.
