Registration Information 2022
Registration Checklist

Step 1: Register your studentClick here for the registration checklist for the 22/23 school year.

Step 2: Register for Fall sports (if applicable)
(Cross Country, Football, Boys Golf, Boys Soccer, Softball, Boys Tennis, Girls Volleyball and POMS) is now open. Please go to the CHS Athletics website to register for a fall sport. A student ID and physical is needed in order to complete registration.

Morning Drop-Off & Afternoon Pick-Up
As our students and staff return to school, we always experience a significant
increase in our morning and afternoon traffic flow. To help keep traffic moving
through the front circle and bus circle, please pull forward so that ALL parents
can drop-off and pick-up their child. If your child is logging their driving hours
by driving to school in the morning, please pull all the way to the end of the
circle to exchange drivers or consider exchanging drivers in another location.
In the mornings from 7:00 until 7:10, parents are welcome to drop-off middle
school students to catch the transfer bus to West Jefferson Middle School.
Middle schoolers will need to walk from the front circle to the bus circle on the
west side of our campus.
Each morning at 7:15 (except Green late starts), the traffic flow is diverted to
the bus lane to help clear our driveway and allow students to be dropped-off
before 7:30 a.m. This includes allowing juniors and seniors to access their
respective parking lots before the late bell.
In the afternoons, it is essential you follow the directions of our campus
supervisors (and Jeffco Sheriff) as the work to clear traffic and allow the school
buses to pick-up students. Never drive on the wrong side of the road unless
directed by a campus supervisor. You risk the safety of other drivers and will be
issued a traffic violation by the Colorado Highway Patrol.
These steps will greatly improve our traffic flow in the morning and afternoon.

Late Start Green Days
On Green Days, which fall on a Wednesday or Thursday (Every 2nd Green Day
of the Week) and Monday (on the first Green Day of the month except
December), Conifer will have a ‘Late Start’ for students. This allows teachers
to meet with their Professional Learning Communities (PLC’s) to work
collaboratively – co-planning, analyzing assessment data, participate in a book
study and engage in collegial conversations to achieve better results for
students. On late start days, Seminar begins at 8:20 a.m. and Block 3 starts at
9:11 a.m.
Buses will run at their regularly scheduled time. Students riding the bus or
being dropped off by a parent, can go to the library, gym, or cafeteria during
this time before Seminar begins.
Please refer to the Conifer Fall 2022 Green/Silver Day Calendar for specific
days (Green/Silver Days and Bell Schedule) or subscribe to the schedule for
easy access on your cellular phone.

Seminar

Seminar provides students with an opportunity to meet with their teachers for additional help, meet with their club/activities, and take time out of their busy schedule to get homework done on Green days.
Seminar is required for all students at Conifer High School! Freshmen and sophomores are required to check in with their Seminar teacher by 7:30 a.m. on Green days throughout the school year. Juniors and seniors are required to attend Seminar for the first six-weeks of school. If a junior or senior is passing all of their classes, they may check in virtually to seminar after the first six weeks.
